Garreth ( with 2 rs) Neilly is a Virtuoso Guitarist, no doubt about it! He can turn his hand to any style of Music but deep down has a ‘Heart of Rock,’ figuratively speaking of course!
Garreth Graduated with Honours from Glasgow Northern College and Guilford Music Academy and worked as a Session Player in London. He was put forward for a job with Scotland’s David Sneddon, winner of Pop Idol and proved that he is one of the best there is......
After this Garreth returned to his Home town...Dunblane, Scotland and began his own Band called “Corode” The Lead Singer Dani, hails from Brazil and the Band spent over two years traveling back and forth to San Paulo....somebody has to do it! Unfortunately, Garreth kept on forgetting his Guitar Leads and decided that it would be cheaper to stay in ‘Sunny Dunny’ (Dunblane) and work from there, which he continues to do.
Garreth also plays with the amazing Bass Player/Teacher Dave Guild (Bass Lessons) and Cymbal Simon in a Band called “Mad Fox”
When not on tour Garreth teaches Guitar and he currently has a couple of slots available, so check out his availability on MySpace. Whilst your there, wrap your ‘Metal Ears’ around his magical playing in ‘Corode’.
