In 2006 Cymbal Simon got a call from Bob, one of the Organisers of the “Dundee Blues Bonanza.” He needed a Drummer for two of the American Headlinings acts, Lil’ Jimmy Reed and “Otis Grand. “Okay” said Cymbal Simon. The first Gig was at the “Tolbooth Theatre” in Stirling, Soundcheck at 4pm, Rehearsal? “You’ll be lucky” said Bob!

Lil’ Jimmy Reed arrived. “Nice to meet you, Cymbal Simon,” “Likewise” said Cymbal Simon. “Let us Play” said Lil’ Jimmy Reed....so they did and a great time was had by all. The Tour lasted a week and sadly, it was soon time to say goodbye. “ Fancy doing the same thing next year?” said Lil’ Jimmy. “ Love to” said Cymbal Simon.

Another chance to play with one of the finest Blues Guitarists, Singers and Gentlemen, that there is! Plenty of good Music , great crowds and newfound friends. Time to say goodbye once again....”Fancy playing in Japan, Cymbal Simon?” .....”Oh, alright then, if I have to!”
